Ahead of the release of their new album next week, watch its cover come to life in the video for new single ‘Sundog Sunburn‘
Hailing from the city of Bjelovar in Croatia, Them Moose Rush is a rock band unlike any other. Working in a genre fuelled by pomp and circumstance the Eastern European trio have always done things for themselves, and in doing so, done said things inimitably.
Combining vintage vibes with math-rock, prog and unusual time signatures, their approach to making music explodes with innovation. Directing their own videos, hiding cyphers in songs, and rocking harder, faster, and stronger than everyone else.
Following the release of ‘T-Jay’ and ‘Lapatopop’, Them Moose Rush are psyched to release their third single from their highly anticipated new studio album, Zepaxia. In keeping with their crazy DIY antics the band has today shared the video for ‘Sundog Sunburn’, offering up a frenetic Mars Volta-esque jaunt into the dusty corners of your psyche, through skewed guitar play and chiming keys, it will jolt and electrify your synapses and sensibilities.
“The video was made once again by our brilliantly versatile drummer Marinko,” explains Nikola Runjavec. “It is a cover of our album Zepaxia brought to life, in a psychedelic, brushstroke universe, where the characters’ movements enhance the polyrhythmic and machinelike nature of the song.”
Chaotically challenging listeners’ perceptions of what a rock and roll trio is truly capable of, Zepaxia will be released on 2nd February 2024 via Dostava Zvuka/Dirty Old Label and can be pre-ordered HERE
